Exchange the scanner unit (MIDI)

1. Open and remove the shells.

2. Remove the rear cover.

3. Remove the tray- and slide loader unit.

4. Remove the turret unit.

5. Remove the focus unit.

6. Remove the X-Y-stage unit.

7. Loosen and remove the appropriate clamps for the scanner unit.

8. Remove the scanner unit.

9. Mount the X-Y-stage unit.

10. Mount the focus unit.

11. Unpack the new scanner unit.

12. Remove the focus unit.

13. Remove the X-Y-stage unit.

14. Remove the new scanner unit from the wooden box.

15. Mount the scanner unit; underpin it with the supporter and tighten the clamps in the right sequence.

16. Mount the X-Y-stage unit.

17. Mount the focus unit.

18. Mount the turret unit

19. Mount the tray- and slide loader unit

20. Mount the rear cover

21. Mount the cover shells

22. Fill out the unit repair form

23. Mount the unusable scanner unit into the wooden box and prepare it for shipping.
