The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (Norway): Using Digital Slide Scanning to Minimize the Environmental Impact of Offshore Petroleum Exploration
The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) is a Norwegian government agency responsible for the regulation of the petroleum resources on the Norwegian continental shelf. It ensures that the petroleum resources are allocated in an optimal way while incurring minimal environmental impact.
