In order to map neuron connections, bigger areas of a slide are examined. With high-resolution objectives used in general microscopy, only smaller areas can be examined, but at lower resolution bigger fields of view are visible. Our microscopes have both advantages, therefore bigger fields of view are digitized with higher resolution.
