Track & Sign

With Track & Sign, the entire digital pathology workflow—from case registration to the final report—is cohesively integrated, reducing turnaround times and boosting performance. Optional HL7 integration enables secure, standardized communication with third-party hospital information systems for exchange, identification, storage, and management of electronic health records, including patient and case data.

3DHISTECH’s advanced laboratory information system, designed to simplify sample management and support pathology department activities and workflows. When combined with the CaseManager DX, an image management system, T&S creates a collaborative environment throughout the digital pathology workflow, covering case registration, gross dissection, sectioning, staining, slide scanning, digital slide storage and reporting. Designed for use by healthcare professionals in laboratory and clinical settings, T&S links electronic health records with sample data–such as containers, blocks and slides-within a centralized database.

Installation

The installation of Track&Sign on the server is available with two kinds of licenses:

  1. Track&Sign license only with limited CaseManager functionalities
  2. Both Track&Sign and CaseManager licenses with full range of functionalities. In this case, the CaseManager installed on the server integrates both the Track&Sign client software in the laboratory and the CaseManager web application on the pathology.

When implementing network-element redundancy, consider the following requirements:

  • HDD – Sub-system under the OS must be of RAID level 1 or higher providing greater data security.
  • Data – RAID level 5 or higher.
  • Network – If NIC teaming method is applied, run at least 2 Ethernet cables between the ports of the switch and the server.
