General Workflow
The workflow in SlideManager is also shown on the user interface:
• Projects: in this column the user can create research projects and organize his/her slide into slide groups.
• Slides: in the slide column the user can import slides into the selected project and group from the SlideCenter database.
• Slide info: displays the basic information of the selected slide like name, dimensions, size. By clicking the thumbnail, the slide is open in SlideViewer application.
• Slide properties: the user can register the relevant metadata for both the project and slides: a list of key and value pairs.
• Quantification: SlideManager contains an integrated interface for QuantServer application. Using this interface the user can execute staining normalization method, various image processing applications, and can see the quantification results. All the analyzation processes are executed on the server in the background.
