High-level interface for storage, slides and annotations
The new software is designed to access slide images, properties, annotations, and server folders. Thanks to the standard and high-level interface, its functionalities can be easily used from any programming language or scripting tool.

Two product variants:
- SimpleSlideInterface:
A slide access tool developed for research users, most of its functions are available free of charge. This variant can only access to an RX systems. - SimpleSlideInterface DX (Integration):
An interface developed specifically for integration purposes, with the help of which 3rd party companies can connect to our systems. This variant can only connect to SlideStorageDX. Its primary purpose is access to image data, patient information and other sensitive data cannot be provided.
Limitations of free version:
- The free version, which can be downloaded via the link above, can only open research slides and can only read slides stored in the research image management systems (CaseCenter/SlideCenter/SlideManager) without restrictions. Reading local slides and slides stored in the DX system is subject to a license.
- Without a license, a total of one copy (process) of SimpleSlideInterface can be started at the same time.
- Without a license, only one open local slide is allowed at the same time. This restriction does not apply to slides opened from the server.
- Without a license, the speed of serving tiles is limited to 1000 tiles/sec. This corresponds to a speed of approximately 64 Megapixels/sec.
