Exchange the X-carriage
drive unit (MIDI)
1. Open and remove the
shells and remove the back wall
4. Read the
passage about the carriage drive unit
5. Remove the
X-carriage drive unit
6. Insert (mount)
the new X-carriage drive unit
7. Fit
the HW-limits
8. Check “Important”
9. If the limits are out of range, repeat
from step 2
12. Check the hardware
limits in X-direction
13. Set the value of the parameter “DeafultPositionX” in the section “[SlideLoading]”.
14. If the limits are out of range, repeat
from step 2
15. Define
the HW limits for the X-carriage and update the appropriate parameter values
in the file “MicroscopeConfiguration.ini” section [HardwareLimits].
16. Check the values of the
scannable area X-min and X-max and correct them if necessary
17. If the values Xmin and / or Xmax of the
scannable area were modified, execute
the preview calibration.
18. Start the SlideScanner.exe program and check
the preview; make a sample scan.
