Exchange the housing (DESK)

1. Open the DESK and remove the upper and the Lower housing

2. Mount the lower housing

3. Check the gap between the focus unit / 8:1 divider and lower housing; see also “Adjust the scanner plate position”

4. Fit the upper housing and check / adjust the gap between specimen holder and upper housing in the slide insert / remove position; see also “Adjust the scanner plate position”

5. Fit the upper housing and check / adjust the proper function of the door sensor; see “The door closed position”

6. Mount the upper housing

7. Make a sample scan and check the slide insert / remove operation; check the correct behavior of the door sensor
