3DHISTECH Ltd. has won five out of nine awards at the second International Scanner Contest (ISC) held in Berlin at the beginning of June 2012.
The awards are: Best Image Quality in 40x category, Highest throughput in 20x and 40x categories, Image Analysis and Green IT categories.
The results were announced Sept 9th 2012 at the European Pathology Congress in Prague.
3DHISTECH develops and produces hardware and software for the preparation, digitalization and analysis of histological specimen for research and clinical use. 3DHISTECH has become the market leader in Europe during the last fifteen years and second in the world with over 1500 systems sold worldwide. The concept of Digital Histology won the Grand Prize for innovation in 2003. The PANNORAMIC SCAN 150 Digital Slide Scanner has won the Best Image Quality award in 40x category on the first Scanner contest in 2010.
The founder of the company, Bela Molnar, MD, PhD, was nominated to the prestigeous European Inventor Award in 2011 for his patents in Digital Microscopy.
