With this module you can easily perform a teleconsultation. Back 'in the old days' you had to physically move the slide for consultation and wait at least for days to get some answer. There was no effective way to mark noteworthy parts on the slide: annotation was one-sided.

With the virtual slide this is over, you can send and share your slides with no cost and absolutely no risk of damage – and all this in one moment.

MIRAX E-Consult from 3DHISTECH Ltd offers two modes for teleconsultation.

The synchronized review mode is termed on-line while the asynchronous mode is termed off-line.

The on-line mode enables

  • Any number of consultants to participate on the teleconference.
  • Passive viewing led by the consultation leader.
  • Active review with an own tempo feature.
  • Leadership switching of the consultation.
  • Truly parallel annotation.

In off-line mode

  •  The consultant and the requester do not need to review the slides at the same time.
  • Slides can be downloaded and annotated.
  • A consensus report with slide image and annotated region of interests can be formulated, dispatched and stored.
  • Digital slides can be downloaded with the consensus report and annotation on the computer of each participant.
